We believed that our 28 Years Of Faith Founders Day Celebration was a momentous occasion meant to be shared with all, whether you had been with us since the beginning or were just discovering the warmth of our faith community.
The celebration was about coming together, creating connections, and experiencing the love of God in a welcoming environment.
Many marked their calendars for October 14th and 15th and were part of our Founders Day Weekend Experience. We were thrilled to have celebrated with you, shared our history, and created new memories together.

We got ready for an afternoon of pure joy and togetherness as we gathered for “Family Time with Our Pastors” during Founder’s Day Weekend! The event delivered an unforgettable blend of music, delicious food, exciting games, and entertainment for all ages.
We came together as a community for a combined Sunday Service like no other! It was Dress Down Sunday, so you didn’t have to worry about what to wear—just be comfortable.
Our Remarkable Journey:
From a Word to 28 Years of Faithful Service
Faith Outreach Church’s incredible journey began with a divine word spoken in 1995 to our visionary leader, Dr. Richard B. Peoples Sr., while he was in Heidelberg, Germany. God’s unmistakable message was clear: “You will pastor a church in Augusta, Georgia.” Embracing this divine calling, Dr. Peoples kneeled in prayer, acknowledging God’s vision for the future.
From its inception, God’s favor was evident upon Faith Outreach Church, Incorporated. We humbly began with just 10 devoted individuals gathering in Dr. Richard B. Peoples and Janice Peoples’ garage from February to July 1995. As the congregation grew to over 50, we transitioned to the Holiday Inn on Gordon Highway and later Willis Foreman Elementary School from September 1995 to 1997. The teachings resonated with our community, offering answers to life’s profound questions with simplicity and accuracy.
In December 1997, we moved to our current property, and the journey continued. Phase II saw the addition of an educational building in 1997 and a daycare with a full children’s playground in 1999. As community needs evolved, we transitioned our focus, ministering to the homeless through a joint network and establishing a food bank program. In 2003, Phase III brought forth the Family Life Center and the expansion of our food bank program, serving the physical and spiritual needs of our community.
Faith Outreach Church continued to thrive, setting attendance records, and in December 2010, we witnessed the fulfillment of God’s vision with the erection of the Faith Dome Worship Center. Our outreach expanded with the launch of Faith Outreach Church West, reaching even more souls for Christ. In January 2017, we acquired the Belair Road plaza to further extend our ministry’s impact.
Now, in 2023, 28 years later, Faith Outreach Church continues to thrive spiritually and serve communities locally, nationally, and internationally through various outreaches. With a commitment to faith, excellence, and integrity, we remain steadfast in our mission. Under the anointing and leadership of Bishop and Dr. Peoples, we look forward to the future with great anticipation, knowing that the best is yet to come as we continue to live out our motto, “Faith in Action.”
